About The Position

Radiology Ltd., a 500 employee imaging company is seeking a full time Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. Hours are 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM Monday-Friday. The location of the position is on the East Side of Tucson. The CCMA will provide assistance to radiology staff including radiologists, nurses and technologists in a fast paced team environment.

Requirements

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service oriented with excellent communication skills
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and adaptability to a busy workflow
• Ability to work on a team and seek out where help is needed
• Responsible, reliable and empathetic
• Proficient in Windows based PC applications
• Active CPR certification
• Must be a CCMA
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Prior medical office experience helpful

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for exams and coordinate patient flow
• Monitor patients post procedure including vitals.
• Interview patient prior to exam and provide accurate documentation for nurses, physician extenders, technologists and radiologists
• Aids in providing patient education for scheduled exams
• Monitors supplies
• Maintains patient confidentiality
