Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) certificate (required) within 3 months of hire.
Current BLS certification.
Able to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret medical data and professional journals.
Ability to understand and use electronic medical record software.
Ability to listen and understand patient questions and communicate complex information accurately and understandably.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

One-year prior medical assisting preferred.
Additional languages preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist physicians with various office procedures.
Enhance patient communication.
