About The Position

As a Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT), you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following Satellite policies and procedures per their state Scope of Practice, safely and efficiently. You will be the first team member to meet and greet patients on the treatment floor, making them feel comfortable throughout their treatment. You will advocate for patients and effectively communicate with other team members pertinent information for delivering quality care. You will play a vital role in ensuring the mission to make life better for those with kidney disease and the vision to be unsurpassed in individualized experience, quality, and compassion is met. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent
  • Six (6) months of active hemodialysis patient care experience as a certified hemodialysis technician
  • BONENT (CHT)/NNCC (CCHT)/NNCO (CCNT) certification (per state regulations)
  • California Department of Public Health CHT certification (required only for CA locations)
  • Current CPR certification

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

  • Meet and greet patients on the treatment floor and make them feel comfortable.
  • Advocate for patients while they are at the unit.
  • Effectively communicate with other team members any information pertinent to delivering quality care.

  • Build relationships with patients and team members.
