About The Position

The HVAC Technician is responsible for installing, diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, maintaining, and servicing several heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems. This is a full-time position working the 2nd shift from 3p-11:30p. The technician will report to the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

EPA Universal License and HVAC Certification
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and air conditioning maintenance.
Two (2) years of experience with a significant combination of vocational education, apprentice training, or on-the-job training preferred.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain low pressure hot water systems, gas wall heaters, ventilation units, and air condition units.
Replace fans, belts, motors, gaskets, filters, and compressors, and lubricate parts.
Adjust and install switches, gauges, thermostats, valves, tubing, transformers, pressure regulators, controllers, and other parts.
Establish cost of repairs and equipment replacement.
Operate specialized machinery, equipment, and tools used in the repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning.
Maintain all mechanical and cosmetic items throughout the facility.
Inspect all lighting throughout the property, identify potential problems and resolve the issue.
Maintain a knowledge of all rules, regulations, and controls.
Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
Perform other duties as may be assigned.
