About The Position

BAYADA is seeking Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide meaningful, one-on-one care to clients in their homes. As a member of the ACSP team, you will support clients with activities of daily living, household tasks, and companion care, helping them to live safely and independently. Requirements

At least one year of work experience.
Successfully completed a recognized CNA training course and be certified to work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
A passion for caregiving, providing private home care, and a desire to help others.
A commitment to being present and providing quality care.
Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect.
Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
Commitment to deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.

Responsibilities

Following a written plan of care by a registered nurse, provide personal care, household support, and companion care (homemaker) services.
Assist clients with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding.
Assist with range of motion/exercises.
Assist with ambulation (Transfers/use of mechanical lifting devices).
Provide medication reminders.
Perform vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration.
