Certified Caregiver/HHA
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is hiring Home Health Aides, caregivers, and CNAs to serve clients in the Greater Phoenix area. In BAYADA’s Assistive Care Division, the Home Health Aide provides one-on-one personal care, household support, and companionship to help adults remain safe and independent at home. Care is delivered according to a written plan of care from a registered nurse. The position offers a stated pay range of $16.50–$20.00 per hour, depending on shifts and clients. BAYADA provides training for people who are new to the field, including a monthly Home Health Aide training class. The posting describes weekly pay, flexible scheduling, local clients, 24/7 nurse support, scholarships and career growth, PTO, and PPE and N95 fit testing.
Requirements
- At least one year of verifiable caregiving experience or an active CNA/LNA certification.
- Compassion, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned.
- Commitment to providing patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability.
Nice To Haves
- Previous home health care or patient care experience is welcomed but not required.
Responsibilities
- Follow a written plan of care provided by a registered nurse.
- Provide personal care, including assistance with bathing, grooming, toileting, and nail care.
- Provide household support, including light housekeeping, laundry, and bed making.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding.
- Assist clients with range-of-motion activities and exercises.
- Assist with ambulation and transfers, including use of mechanical lifting devices.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Provide companion care to help clients remain safe and independent at home.
