About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers (CNA & HHA) to join their award-winning team. The role involves supporting clients with their daily needs, maintaining their health and safety, and following individualized care plans. Hours are dependent on specific cases, with shifts available 24/7, though Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.

Requirements

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA), or be in the process of obtaining one.
  • Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
  • Ability to utilize a smartphone-based app.
  • Punctual and dependable.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year of experience in the home or long-term care setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support clients' daily needs, taking initiative.
  • Provide companionship and engagement.
  • Maintain client health and safety by providing high-quality personal care and monitoring for safety risks.
  • Follow an individualized, written Plan of Care to support clients with personal hygiene, ambulation and exercise, eating, dressing, bathing, shaving, physical transfer, and other duties as assigned.
  • Assist with shopping, running errands, meal preparation, and light housekeeping.
  • Communicate effectively.
