About The Position

Gold Coast Center for Veterinary Care is a state-of-the-art facility actively seeking a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT) or Certified Canine Rehabilitation Veterinary Technician (CCRVVT) to join their dedicated Physical Rehabilitation team full-time. This role offers the opportunity to work at the highest level within a collaborative team in a hospital fully equipped and committed to rehabilitation medicine as a specialty. The position involves providing a variety of rehabilitation services and modalities to both in-patient and out-patient cases.

Requirements

• Active CCRT or CCRVT certification required.
• NYS Veterinary Technician license.
• Deep knowledge of rehabilitation protocols, modalities, and patient assessment.
• Strong communication skills for client education and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-patient/out-patient rehabilitation services.
• Develop and manage home exercise programs.
• Oversee weight loss management programs.
• Conduct client education sessions.
• Utilize numerous assistive devices.
• Administer therapeutic laser treatments.
• Perform electric stimulation.
• Conduct therapeutic massage.
• Implement therapeutic exercises.
• Administer therapeutic ultrasound.
• Utilize a wide range of exercise equipment.
