Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) | Washington State | In-Person to Hybrid/Virtual Opportunities
About The Position
Empower Behavior Solutions is seeking compassionate and motivated Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) to join their growing team. The company provides high-quality ABA services aimed at helping children develop essential skills, increase their independence, and achieve their full potential. This role offers the opportunity to start with in-person, home, or school-based clients and potentially transition to hybrid or virtual services as the company's virtual program expands and based on performance and clinical readiness. Virtual services are not guaranteed at the time of hire and may not be the initial assignment.
Requirements
- Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification — REQUIRED
- Applicants without an active WA State CBT certification will NOT be contacted or considered
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous ABA therapy experience
- Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data
- Reliable transportation for in-person services
- Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
- Willingness to begin with in-person services
- Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to client care
Nice To Haves
- Previous telehealth ABA experience
- Previous in-home or school-based ABA experience
- Two or more years of experience working with children
- Interest in hybrid or virtual ABA services
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA.
- Begin with in-home or school-based services.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs.
- Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session.
- Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians.
- Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families.
- As virtual opportunities become available, potentially provide hybrid or virtual ABA services.
- Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
