Floyd's 99 Barbershop in Austin, TX is hiring a full- or part-time Certified Barber who's ready to join some of the best in the industry in making clients feel amazing! We're hiring an enthusiastic, professional, and courteous person to help make every day at our barbershop a great one! Located right off MoPac Expressway, we are not your average shop-we're a vibrant, trendsetting team dedicated to delivering top-tier haircuts, shaves, and beard trims with a modern edge. Just steps from the Domain outdoor mall and close to FC stadium, our shop captures the energetic, creative spirit and vibe of Austin. Our experienced barbers and stylists thrive in an environment that attracts a younger, dynamic clientele, who expect both precision and personality. Requirements
- Current Texas barber license
- Solid hair-cutting skills and techniques
- Reliable, customer service-focused mentality
- A coachable mindset and an openness to learning new things
- Availability to work closing shifts and at least one weekend shift (Saturday or Sunday)
Responsibilities
- Make clients feel welcome and comfortable in the chair.
- Consult with clients to understand their desired services.
- Perform clipper cuts, fades, fresh styles, beard services, and more.
- Maintain a clean and professional environment.
- Keep workstation TDLR-Compliant.
