About The Position
This position involves providing athletic training services for student athletes at Gaylord and Grayling Community Middle and High Schools. The role is part of a small, close-knit Sports Medicine team that offers mutual support and encouragement. The Certified Athletic Trainer will be supported by the Sports Medicine Director and the Outpatient Rehab Director/designee. This role also offers opportunities to work alongside leaders and mentors who provide training in new skills, fostering personal growth and promotional opportunities within the organization.
Requirements
- Four-year bachelor's degree in athletic training or related study
- Certification as an athletic trainer
- Licensed in Athletic Training
- Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
- Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
