About The Position

St. Louis Children's Hospital and the Young Athletes Center has an opportunity for Certified Athletic Trainers (ATCs) for evening and weekend coverage to help with sponsored soccer tournaments in MO. This is a PRN (as needed) opportunity. The role is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of clients receiving athletic training services in the field and clinical setting. Client care is provided with an understanding of the developmental needs of the population served. The ATC contributes to process improvement and is responsible for professional growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• No Experience
• No Supervisor Experience
• Cert/Lic in Area of Expertise
• NATABOC

Nice To Haves

• Current MO license

Responsibilities

• Directs, provides and ensures the delivery of outcome-oriented care of athletes on the field following all National and State regulations.
• Performs acute injury evaluation and rehabilitation under a physician's directive.
• Develops and instructs on-site or in-home exercise programs.
• Supervises and educates students, volunteers and the community.
