About The Position
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Certified Athletic Trainer for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree from an accredited professional athletic training education program
- State licensure from Board of Certification
- Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.

- Previous experience preferred but not required
Responsibilities
- Responsible for collaborating with physicians to optimize patient and client activity in athletic, work, life.
- The practice of athletic training encompasses assisting the physician with the prevention, examination, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of emergent, acute, subacute and chronic neuromusculoskeletal conditions.
- Practice goal is to minimize subsequent impairments, functional limitations, disability and societal limitations.
