About The Position

US Anesthesia Partners North Florida is offering a full-time position for a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) in Jacksonville, Florida. They are a premier anesthesia group providing adult anesthesia services to multiple Baptist Hospital Medical Centers and The Jacksonville Orthopedic Institute. The Baptist Hospital Medical System is an award-winning system known for excellence in patient care and has recently partnered with The MD Anderson Cancer Center. Due to rapid expansion and a need for talented anesthetists, they are seeking to join their dynamic team.

Requirements

• Must meet state licensure requirements.
• Must complete and meet hospital credentialing requirements for the hospitals they will have privileges.

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency with regional blockade is not a requirement, however, Anesthetists will perform spinals and arterial lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for all types of cases except pediatrics.
• Perform obstetric and cardiothoracic anesthesia (for those interested).
• Provide anesthesia for general, orthopedic, and gynecologic surgeries.
• Provide neurosurgical anesthesia including spine surgery, stroke interventions, aneurysm coiling, craniotomies, and open neurovascular procedures.
• Perform spinals and arterial lines.
• Participate in weekend and weekday call, taken at home by beeper (infrequent).
