Requirements

• Aerobics certification from an accredited agency.
• Applicants must be at least 17 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities could be considered qualifying.
• Knowledge of appropriate safety precautions and procedures.
• Knowledge of functions, policies, and procedures of relevant departments and/or operations.
• Ability to interpret and apply department policies and procedures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the public and all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to work independently, without direct supervision.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written direction.

Responsibilities

• Conducts aerobic fitness classes.
• Enforces and follows all rules, regulations, and policies of the City of Duarte.
• Enforce rules and regulations of recreational facility to ensure safety.
• Performs other related duties as required.
