About The Position

KMG Prestige is seeking a Certification Specialist to join their team in Detroit, MI. This role is responsible for agency reporting, processing move-ins and recertifications, sending out notices, and monitoring resident accounts. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, enjoys new challenges, thrives within a deadline-driven schedule, is an organized problem solver with strong time management skills, and possesses a positive attitude. Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with low income housing, specifically HUD Section 8 and/or LIHTC Illinois Tax Credit Experience
• Experience with Onesite Property management software or similar
• Demonstrated knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations, up to and including HOTMA
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently
