Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • 3–5 years of experience in certification, compliance, or working with external test labs
  • Hands-on experience coordinating with third-party laboratories or certification bodies
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese for supplier and lab coordination
  • Understanding of certification workflows and regulatory approval processes
  • Ability to interpret test plans, standards, and lab reports
  • Experience managing certification documentation (reports, certificates, declarations)
  • Awareness of product lifecycle impact on compliance and design changes
  • Basic understanding of ISO 9001 quality system principles
  • Strong ownership and ability to drive tasks independently
  • Proactive follow-up mindset—ensures nothing is left pending
  • Practical problem-solving approach (focus on solutions, not just issues)
  • Clear communication with internal teams and external partners
  • Strong organisation and documentation discipline

Nice To Haves

  • Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Familiarity with CE, FCC, UL certification processes
  • Exposure to EMC, electrical safety, or RF testing
  • Experience working in ISO 9001 quality system environment
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 internal auditing or audit participation
  • Experience supporting UL factory audits

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end certification activities (CE, FCC, UL) from planning through approval
  • Coordinate testing with external laboratories and certification bodies, including scheduling, samples, and test execution
  • Proactively track test progress, follow up on issues, and ensure report timelines are met
  • Support troubleshooting during test failures and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders
  • Maintain and organise certification documentation (test reports, certificates, declarations)
  • Track certification status across multiple projects and provide clear progress updates
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure component and material compliance requirements are met
  • Support certification updates, modifications, and renewals for existing products
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate potential impact to internal teams
  • Support ISO 9001 quality system compliance and documentation readiness
  • Participate in ISO 9001 internal audits
  • Support UL factory audits and external/customer audits as needed
  • Follow up on audit findings and support closure of corrective actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations.
  • Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations.
  • Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow.
