About The Position

Performs various technician procedures that require independent judgment and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic procedures. Assists in the collection of pertinent patient information needed to determine physical and psychological needs, address and identify health problems, performs selected treatments, diagnostic procedures and routine duties. Function as a member of the healthcare team with responsibilities commensurate with training and demonstrated competencies. Direct patient care is provided to patients of all ages.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelors degree from an accredited school of radiology.
• Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible.
• If registry eligible must become registered within 6 months of employment.
• Current Radiography license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy required.
• Must maintain 12 ECE points per year.
• BLS required
