About The Position

Produce blocks for ceramic cores using ovens to fire blocks. This role involves manufacturing blocks in accordance with Process Engineering Procedures, producing quantities within set standards, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities include palletizing blocks for shipment, setting up and putting away blocks, and maintaining the shop floor/burn table and racks. Employees will handle hazardous (flammable) waste in accordance with procedure and must adhere to all safety procedures and department standards for housekeeping/6S. Other duties may be assigned by supervision.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 35 pounds
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Ability to perform in a self-directed environment with little supervision is essential
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret procedures
• Experience & Education

Responsibilities

• Manufacture blocks in accordance to Process Engineering Procedures
• Produce quantities within set standards of each FR
• Maintain accurate records (Formulation and S.P.C. Charts, etc)
• Palletize blocks for shipment, set up and put away blocks
• Maintain shop floor/burn table and racks
• Handle hazardous (flammable) waste in accordance with procedure
• Follow and adhere to all safety procedures
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
• Other duties as assigned by supervision
