About The Position

Yask is an AI system for physical operations designed to help teams manage inventory, staffing, and local conditions effectively. It aims to reduce overhead for frontline teams by making observations easy to capture, determining the right actions, directing follow-through, and verifying execution. The company is being built out of Gitwit, a venture studio, and has a live design partner with operations in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas. This is a hands-on founder role focused on achieving product-market fit, driving customer adoption, and building the company from the ground up in Bentonville, Arkansas. The role requires a deep understanding of physical operations, particularly in retail and distribution, and the ability to translate field insights into product decisions and customer value. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with ambiguity, possess strong product judgment, and be willing to work closely with customers and the founding team to shape the product and go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • Experience getting close to customers, workflows, and operating conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Build your founding team of builders, dreamers, and operators.
  • Drive customer learning and adoption by spending time in the field, running demos, and talking with users and decision-makers.
  • Shape the product by working closely with the founding product and engineering team to decide what gets built, cut, and tested.
  • Turn early usage into referenceable value and clear proof of value.
  • Make Yask legible to your ICP by translating field learning, product behavior, and customer results into a compelling story.
  • Convert the first wedge into the next customers by shaping pilots, defining success, and turning early customer value into repeatable traction.
  • Create the operating rhythm of the company, establishing how Yask learns, prioritizes, ships, follows up, and decides.
  • Own the feedback loops that make the business sharper by defining usage patterns, KPIs, and decision cadences.
  • Stay close to the hard parts of the business, including product tradeoffs, customer pressure, and messy field reality.
