About The Position

Handex is seeking Field Centrifuge Operators in Macon, GA for a new project. As a Centrifuge Operator, you will assist with industrial projects in dewatering and processing operations. Upon project completion, there may be opportunities to support various client projects in the North/Southeast and Midwest regions. Requirements

High school diploma/GED.
2+ years of centrifuge operating experience along with intricate knowledge of 2 phase and 3 phase decanter centrifuge operations.
Willingness to travel and work effectively at remote project sites, including 12-hour shifts along with flexible rotational schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
Excellent team players with good communication skills, reliability, and a positive, can-do attitude.
Comfortable being in an industrial/refinery setting both indoors and outside as well as confined spaces and able to lift 50 lbs.
Must have a reliable vehicle and a drivers license in good standing. Real ID or a valid passport too.
Must pass pre-employment background checks which include physical/drug/alcohol/MVR/criminal.

Nice To Haves

Military industrial/mechanical experience a plus.
TWIC card and 40 Hour OSHA is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist with industrial and dewatering/sludge removal at the client site in Macon, GA.
Receive work direction from the on-site supervisor or PM, follow instructions carefully, maintain open and effective communication, and proactively handle any challenges.
Monitor and operate maximum centrifuge feed capacities, including conditioning centrifuge feed stock through polymer injection and the use of various chemical additives.
Operate special equipment, such as positive displacement pumps and polymer blending systems.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment used for each project to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Operate light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washers and mechanical tools.
Learn, understand, and comply with all safety work practices, policies, and procedures always.
Accurately maintain and promptly process expenses and timesheets.
Consistently represent Handex in a professional manner, collaborating effectively with teammates, and maintaining respectful and positive working relationships.
