About The Position

Reporting to the Area Director, the Centre Director acts as an integral member of the Kids & Company team. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a specific childcare center through the conscientious application of Kids & Company standards to achieve the mission statement: to provide quality primary and backup childcare services conveniently located near our children’s parent’s place of work. The aim is to assist corporations in creating a healthy work/life balance.

Requirements

  • Certified Level 3 ECE
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal reference check
  • Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
  • Immunization records up to date / two-step TB test.
  • Ability to push, pull and lift up- to 45 pounds

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the overall operation of the child care centre, which includes staffing, parent tours/orientation, communication with head office and care of all children
  • Managing the enrollment projections of the centre
  • Mentoring, motivating, and providing guidance and discipline when required.
  • Maintaining positive community relations
  • Manages parent concerns and responds to parent questions
  • Administrative duties
