About The Position

Requirements

  • Previous administration experience (experience in Early Childhood Education is highly regarded).
  • Outstanding communication and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
  • High attention to detail and strong data entry accuracy.
  • Tech-savvy with confidence using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • A positive, professional and friendly attitude.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using childcare management platforms such as XAP, Kindyhub, or similar software is highly regarded; however, comprehensive training will be provided to the right candidate who is eager to learn.
  • Experience managing accounts, payments and debt follow-up is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the centre reception and front office, welcoming families, children, visitors and staff.
  • Answer telephone enquiries and respond to emails professionally and promptly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective families.
  • Conduct centre tours for prospective families and assist with enrolment enquiries.
  • Process enrolments and maintain accurate child and family records.
  • Perform data entry and maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments and centre tours.
  • Process payments and receipts while maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Follow up outstanding fees and manage debt collection in a professional and respectful manner.
  • Liaise with Centrelink and other relevant government agencies regarding childcare subsidies and enrolments.
  • Support occupancy growth by following up enquiries and maintaining relationships with prospective families.
  • Use childcare management and CRM systems to maintain accurate records and communication.
  • Assist the Centre Director with general administrative duties and reporting.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with centre policies and relevant legislation.
