About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a Centralized Scheduler to join their team in Dallas, TX. This is a full-time position with varying hours between Monday - Friday, 7 am - 7 pm, with 8-hour shifts. The compensation is dependent on the candidate's years of experience and internal equity, with a minimum starting salary of $19 - $25 per hour. This is an on-site position, requiring applicants to come into the office. The role is part of a high-demand department responsible for scheduling referrals for all 100+ BSWIR outpatient clinics.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong skills in computer equipment and software
Detailed documentation skills
Problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service skills
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and relate ideas effectively with staff members, supportive personnel, management staff, third party payers, patients, and physicians.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual preferred
Courses in bookkeeping and accounting OR work experience in a healthcare or related setting
One to two years medical billing and administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

Scheduling referrals for all 100+ BSWIR outpatient clinics
Answering incoming rollover calls from clinics
Calling referrals received from provider sources
Handling overall high call volume and returning patient voicemails
Working out of EPIC, Therapy Source, and other sites to obtain and call referrals
