Requirements

  • 1 years of sales experience, leasing experience an asset
  • Strong knowledge of the local real estate market
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle for work-related travel.
  • Thorough understanding of all aspects of formal lease documents
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate initiative, personal awareness, professionalism, integrity, personal appearance and exercise confidentiality in all areas of performance

Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing market analysis and remain current on rental rates and consumer trends.
  • Support the execution of marketing and leasing strategies for residential properties by Coordinating digital and print advertisements, Updating signage and promotional materials, Making updates to websites or splash pages, Suggesting e-blasts ideas.
  • Compile daily, weekly, or monthly activity reports, lease summary reports, market reports and expiring lease analysis as required, in conjunction with the VP of Residential PM.
  • Collect data to help develop and provide recommendations to promote the rental properties.
  • Maintain and update parking and storage inventory in Yardi to ensure accuracy and availability.
  • Send parking and storage agreements through Yardi for signing and follow up to ensure all documents are fully executed prior to occupancy.
  • Ensure rentable item charges and lease incentives are applied correctly in Yardi.
  • Upsell tenants to premium parking stalls or larger storage lockers, processing upgrades in Yardi and ensuring rate differences are correctly applied to the tenant's ledger.
  • Regularly audit rentable item assignments in Yardi to identify and resolve discrepancies between physical inventory and system records.
  • Sets and achieves sales performance goals.
  • Assists with company sponsored resident events.
  • Review and provide comments on how to improve existing websites and procedures within the department.
  • Collaborate with the Property Management team to improve existing rental platforms and traffic.
  • Other duties as required by the Vice President or Director of Residential Property Management
