Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
1-2 years of Multifamily Property Management experience recommended
Proficient in Yardi/CRM Flex
Demonstrate interpersonal skills and proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent the executive and the company to outside parties
Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills

Responsibilities

Utilize sales techniques to sell the value of the property to potential residents and helps close deals by ensuring they are meeting the call-to-tour ratio goals.
Follow up with prospective residents via phone and e-mail to help convert leads to leases.
Responds quickly and courteously to resident and client/owner concerns and questions, and takes prompt action to solve problems and/or document and convey resident or other requests to the appropriate individual(s).
Follows-up with prospects and new residents to ensure satisfaction by sending e-mail, thank-you notes, and cards or making telephone calls or other contacts to finalize decisions to lease and/or renew.
Maintains a strong alignment between the Director of Multifamily Leasing, the onsite leasing team, and Revenue Management.
Helps curate a culture of learning and ownership among the team.
Solve problems and achieve goals through immediate resolution and follow-up
Achieve and exceed goals in the Centralized Leasing Center
Helps with outreach and networking strategies to generate leads within the local market
Stays informed about current market and competitor conditions that may impact the community’s occupancy and sales results, implements short- and long-term goals to sustain occupancy, and follows the community’s established policies related to concessions, specials, and other programs to boost occupancy.
Provide excellent customer service to prospects, applicants, and current residents, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
Uses the on-site property management software (Yardi) and website to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture critical demographic and other information about existing and future residents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date leasing records and reports.
Contribute to the development and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
Work closely with other departments to ensure resident satisfaction and a well-maintained property.
Prepares and sends weekly leasing reports to senior management staff
Other duties as assigned
