About The Position

The Ackermann Group is seeking a full-time Centralized Leasing Consultant to join their team at their Corporate Headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. This role is responsible for managing the leasing process for multiple properties, focusing on customer service, lead generation, and application processing. The position involves handling all aspects of the leasing process from initial inquiries to lease signing, including sales and administrative tasks, with occasional light manual labor. The consultant will maintain a comprehensive understanding of community product knowledge, fair housing, and lease policies, as well as basic community data points and market conditions. They will act as the first point of contact for prospect and resident queries, converting inquiries into tours and escalating complex matters. The role requires delivering exceptional customer experiences, anticipating and resolving resident issues, and completing all administrative tasks associated with leasing and move-ins. Additionally, the consultant will document and schedule routine service needs, demonstrate proficiency in property management and CRM software, and collaborate effectively with community staff, including maintenance and management. Other responsibilities include lead management, follow-ups, application processing, renewal conversations, work order follow-up, and social media support as assigned by the manager.

Requirements

  • Availability to work full-time: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm + Saturdays as needed
  • Must reside in the Greater Cincinnati, Ohio area
  • 1 or more years of demonstrable leasing experience required
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to quickly develop rapport with prospective residents
  • The ability to work well in a team setting
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Yardi Voyager, Rent Café, and CRM is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handles all aspects of the leasing process from initial inquires to lease signing, including sales and administrative aspects with occasional light manual labor.
  • Establishes and maintains a comprehensive understanding of community product knowledge, fair housing, and lease policies.
  • Ensures all documentation related to leasing, fair housing compliance, and resident interactions is accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Establishes and maintains knowledge of basic community data points including # of units, year built, building materials, utility providers etc.
  • Maintains a current understanding of area micro and macro market conditions sufficient to accurately influence the sales approach.
  • Acts as first point of contact to respond to prospect and resident queries via technology or phone, converting prospect queries into physical tours and distributing complex matters to appropriate person or member of Management.
  • Delivers exceptional customer experiences that garner positive reviews.
  • Takes initiative to anticipate and resolve resident issues and inquiries independently. This includes proactively identifying areas for improvement in customer satisfaction and providing solutions or recommendations to Community Manager, thereby contributing to a positive and supportive community experience.
  • Completes all administrative aspects (i.e, guest card completion, lease preparation etc.) associated with the leasing or move in process.
  • Documents (and potentially helps schedule) routine service needs expressed by residents.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in property management and CRM software for managing prospect information, resident details, tasks, and follow-ups. This includes accurately logging guest cards, tracking resident interactions, scheduling appointments, and generating reports to support leasing efforts and community goals.
  • Works effectively as part of a team, fostering open communication and support among community staff, including the Maintenance team and Community Manager. This collaboration ensures that resident needs are met quickly and effectively, promoting a high level of satisfaction within the community.
  • Takes responsibility for other work-related tasks as assigned by Manager; including not limited to lead management, scheduled follow up, application process, renewal conversations, work order follow up, and social media support.
