Centralized Intake (CI) is an essential unit that is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and functions as a processing center for reports of suspected abuse and neglect for both children and adults for the entire state of Michigan covering all 83 counties. Intern responsibilities for the MDHHS Centralized Intake Unit will include, but are not limited to assisting with the management and distribution of online complaints, law enforcement notifications, and other administrative support tasks. Additional duties may include data entry, monitoring shared inboxes and work queues, maintaining organized records, and assisting staff with daily administrative functions.
