About The Position

All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision of providing the region’s best clinical care and patient service through an environment that fosters respect for others and pride in performance. Cleans, inventories, issues and replenishes equipment and supplies to hospital departments. Track locations and usage of equipment. Charges patients for equipment and supplies as necessary.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• General knowledge of supply distribution
• General computer skills
• Able to deal with public and other departments

Nice To Haves

• Central Supply/ Service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Process of issuing supplies and equipment to appropriate hospital departments.
• Stock supply carts to specified PAR Levels.
• Properly clean, inventory and replenish equipment from nursing units.
• Know the inventory supply, what product is and what it is used for.
• Process patient charges for equipment and supplies as necessary through appropriate computer systems.
