About The Position

AMG Specialty Hospital - Lafayette is seeking a Part Time Central Supply Coordinator. This role is responsible for assisting in establishing requirements for items or services to be procured and developing standard specifications. The coordinator supervises the storage, control, and issuance of materials, and maintains contact with the Corporate Supply Chain Department and supply sources. They stay informed of price trends, document and track the facility budget, backorders, availability of supply, new items, and supplier reliability. The role involves receiving and verifying all incoming supplies and materials delivered weekly. Additionally, the coordinator maintains good working relationships within the hospital and provides excellent customer service. Requirements

• High School diploma required
• 1-3 years experience in central supply/materials management, preferably with hospital experience
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Demonstrates ability to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations
• Strong time management, planning and multi-tasking skills
• Possess strong interpersonal and human relation skills
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
