Requirements

High School graduate.
Ability to read and write and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to plan, organize and deal with multiple projects.
Basic computer knowledge.
Good interpersonal and communication skills a must.

Nice To Haves

STNA Preferred
Some long term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain a perpetual inventory of every item stocked in order to insure adequate levels of supplies.
Coordinate and facilitate the ordering of all medical and therapy supplies. Ensures the inventory is consistent with the needs of all residents, based on physical orders.
Requisition supplies as needed.
Properly storing supplies, including the rotation of stock with expiration dates.
Distribution of supplies to proper departments.
Coordinate the return of supplies and equipment to vendors for credit or exchange when necessary.
Control cost of ancillary supplies per budget.
Charges to bookkeeper for billing if appropriate.
This position may have access to protected health information in the patient’s medical and financial records to conduct job duties.
