About The Position

We are pleased to offer the opportunity to work as a Central Supply Aide within the DuPage County Care Center. Requirements

Completion of a High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma
Three(3) to six(6) months related experience and/or training
Post-Offer Physical is required
Pre-employment background check is required

Responsibilities

Washes, sterilizes equipment, instruments, and supply items used in medical and nursing procedures
Replenishes supply carts and delivers to assigned areas
Prepares packs of supplies, instruments, and dressing and treatment trays, according to designated lists or codes, and wraps, labels and seals packs.
Delivers sterilized items and special medical trays to assigned areas
Delivers IV supplies and IV pumps to assigned areas
Picks up soiled items to be cleaned
Stores prepared articles and supplies in designated areas.
Stocks and maintains central supply
Completes inventory and maintains the correct levels and/or numbers for supplies at which stock needs to be replenished
Fills supply requisition and places orders as needed
Place orders from suppliers according to contracts
