Central Sterile Tech-II
About The Position
This is a full-time position with 5-8 hour day shifts. The role involves maintaining recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing, and sterilizing surgical instruments accurately and in a timely manner. The technician will also perform sterilization, assembly, and storage of medical supplies and equipment. Collaboration with Perioperative Nursing staff is key to ensure sterile instrument sets, equipment, and case carts are provided efficiently. The position also requires assisting in maintaining a consistent work flow and providing superior customer service.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- Graduate of a Central Sterile Tech Required or In Lieu of CST Certificate, 3 years of Central Sterile experience Required
- 3 years of Central Sterile experience Required or No experience required if incumbent has a Central Sterile Tech certification Required
Nice To Haves
- CCST - Certified Central Service Technician Preferred
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Preferred
