About The Position

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Central Sterile Supply Tech to join our team of mission-driven healthcare innovators. Position Purpose: Under moderate supervision of the Central Service Manager and Lead Technicians; Inspects, assembles and sterilizes instrument sets, supplies and tracks procedure trays, decontaminates soiled instruments and equipment, delivers and supplies items to surgical units and patient care units, picks cases for scheduled surgeries.

Requirements

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: One year of in Sterile processing or related field preferred.
Licensure: Central Service Certification required within TWO years of hire date. Failure to achieve certification within required period will result in termination.
Skills: Knowledge of sterilization standards and procedures, related medical terminology preferred.
Computer knowledge and ability to use or learn to use department tracking system and its associated devices.
Customer service and great interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

One year of in Sterile processing or related field preferred.
