About The Position

Specialty Orthopedic Group is currently seeking an CSP Tech to join the Surgery Center full-time. The CSP Tech cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, packages, sterilizes, stores, and distributes supplies, instruments, and equipment dispensed by the department following infection control guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
• Familiarity with medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Understanding of sterilization techniques and equipment operation
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Sterile Processing Technician or similar role preferred

Responsibilities

• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to established protocols
• Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order replacements as needed
• Follow proper handling procedures for contaminated items
• Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves and ultrasonic cleaners
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments
