About The Position
Mission Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Processing Tech for their Sterile Processing Department located in the Basement at 509 Biltmore Ave, Asheville, NC 28801. This role involves processing instruments for a variety of surgical cases, including Davinci, vascular, cardiac-thoracic, general, gyn, ENT, Neuro, and Ortho cases, as well as flexible endoscope processing. The department utilizes equipment such as Autoclaves, Washers, Medivators, and V-Pro Ultrasonics, and uses the SPM instrument tracking system for documentation. The hospital has 805 beds.
Requirements
- Certification in Sterile Processing (CBSPD)
- Experience with Decontamination, Assembling Trays, Washers, Sterilizers, Case Pulling
- Experience with Davinci and eye instruments
- Experience with Quality Tests
