About The Position

As the Yancey Rents Central Service Manager, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient dispatch of the Metro Atlanta field service technicians and PM technicians. This position is to provide leadership, supervision, and support necessary to optimize the service fleet allocation and resource utilization in order to achieve an excellent customer experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a rental sales, operations, or service position. 
  • Experience successfully managing analytically rigorous corporate initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Plan, oversee, and dispatch field technicians & PM technicians for Austell, McDonough, Gwinnett (Dacula), Kennesaw and additional locations in the metro area as they come on line.
  • Work closely with clear and transparent communication to ensure superior customer service is provided to both internal/external customers through:  Follow-up contact with customers.  Metrics established to track key performance indicators. 
  • Handle all Work Orders & Parts.  Execute timely and effective work order management.  Equipment Failure Customer Damage Warranty
  • Purchase all parts for equipment Maintain accurate parts inventories on service trucks Complete Monthly Parts Inventories to assure accuracy
  • Work with Branch Managers to ensure:  DOT compliance and record keeping.  Yancey Safety Rules and Regulations are followed. 
  • Provide regular performance feedback.  Develop Performance Improvement Plans as necessary.  Reward and Recognize employees to reinforce positive behaviors. Provide yearly performance evaluations
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner.
  • Additional duties as assigned by manager.
