About The Position

Safety Kleen in Norwell, MA, is seeking a Central Route Planner to join their safety-conscious team. You will be responsible for routing of service personnel, fleet maintenance, and compliance and safety activities as assigned by the Central Routing Operations manager.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required.
3 - 5 years previous experience with routing, scheduling, or dispatching.
Knowledge of DOT regulations.
Strong knowledge of MS Office. Outlook and Excel, experience with Fleetwise routing software is a plus.
Strong math skills.
Ability to make discretionary judgments and decisions quickly and correctly in short time frames.
Time management skills.
Attention to detail.
Ability to solve problems by collecting and processing available information quickly and accurately.
Customer service aptitude.
Strong written and oral communication skills

Nice To Haves

experience with Fleetwise routing software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Create, adjust and maintain service routes for multiple branches within an assigned region.
Execute scheduling and routing, maximizing customer yield and asset utilization.
Review weekly route plans for accuracy, timing, and feasibility based on customer needs, compliance, and resource availability.
Utilize routing software and internal systems to manage work orders, capacity, and scheduling requests.
Other duties as required.
