About The Position

Dieterich Bank is looking for a Central Loan Processor to add to our corporate team in Effingham, IL. The Central Loan Processor is responsible for producing accurate loan documents on a timely basis. This position is in charge of examining loan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with existing underwriting guidelines and inputs and updates loan data.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or higher in business, finance, or related field preferred
  • Experience in the banking or financial industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Use loan policy and approval information to understand what documentation is necessary to produce various types of loans.
  • Request and obtain any documentation that is missing and necessary for the loan.
  • Produce loan documents accurately and in a timely manner by using LaserPro, nCino, and other bank programs.
  • Communicate with branch staff to ensure documents are accurate.
  • Set up documents tracking lists for commercial real estate loans.
  • Explain terms and conditions of loans when necessary.
  • Assist bank staff and customers with any questions or issues related to loan documents and provide necessary support throughout the loan process.
  • Notify the relevant parties when the loan processing is complete.
  • Exercise some judgment within company guidelines.
  • Monitor and ensure closing dates and company deadlines.
  • File and organize all incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Assist in the training of new employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.
