About The Position

This is a part-time role focused on supporting central fill pharmacy operations. The specialist will follow and promote safety and security procedures, assist with preparing prescription orders for delivery, maintain automated production lines, and organize totes for shipment. They will also help maintain pharmacy systems and technologies, monitor automated devices, replenish supplies, and assist with inventory tasks. The role requires a commitment to safety, productivity, and detail-orientation, with the ability to work well with others and act as a role model.

Central Fulfillment Pharmacy experience.

Good math skills.

Nice To Haves

Pharmacy Technician or Trainee License in Arizona
Previous experience working with an inventory management system, including working with scanning equipment, conveyor lines and/or robotic systems, etc.
Prefers to work in a closed-door environment (no adjudication, customer interaction, phone work.)

Responsibilities

Follow and promote proper Pharmacy, general safety and security procedures and processes of the company.
Assist with preparation of intra-facility transfers (i.e. completed prescription orders) for delivery to stores. These are non-technician tasks to support central fill operations.
Maintain automated production lines, inspect/prepare packages, sort, and apply manifest information to prescription orders.
Organize totes on pallets to prepare for shipment. Works with transportation partners to ship completed totes to stores.
Assist with maintaining the pharmacy system and technologies that facilitate proper conveyance, packaging, and shipping of prescriptions. Escalate technical and workflow issues as needed.
Monitoring and maintaining uptime of automated counting, collating, packaging, and sorting devices, ensuring continuous operation through basic troubleshooting of routine errors.
Assist with replenishment of supplies and cleaning of workstations as needed.
Create and maintain documentation as requested.
Assist Inventory Technicians as requested. Participate in Inventory Audits.
Other duties assigned are concurrent with all applicable laws and regulations.
