About The Position

Counts, restocks, and delivers supplies and equipment. Unpack supplies, rotates stock and checks for outdates. May process daily billing charges and supply issues. Employees of Sutter Health and its entities may handle hazardous drugs in the course of their work, including patient care, which requires them to manage, store, prepare, receive, unpack, transport, dispose of, or administer drugs identified as hazardous or potentially hazardous by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and in accordance with the USP 800 guidelines.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
• DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
• Requires Forklift Certification.
• 1 year basic experience as typically acquired in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of basic math and alpha filing systems is required.
• Accuracy, attention to detail, timeliness, organization, prioritization, working with numbers.
• Ability to accurately count and restock supplies using electronic device.
• Ability to accurately use the materials / inventory and billing computerized systems.

Nice To Haves

• knowledge of hospital-based materials management information systems, shipping/receiving and distribution.
