Central Dispatch Clerk
About The Position
This role is responsible for maintaining supply stock locations, receiving and processing supply orders, and delivering supplies to their destinations. The clerk will also build orders for stock replenishment, replenish crash carts and trays, and maintain/clean stock locations. Additionally, the position involves disinfecting, storing, and delivering movable medical equipment, as well as loading and unloading materials within a warehouse or storage facility. The use of handling equipment like hand trucks and forklifts is expected, along with the appropriate licenses for operating a motor vehicle for transportation. The role also includes participating in physical inventory and cycle counts, validating access permissions, and checking in approved vendors. This position works under immediate supervision and reports to a Supply Chain manager or supervisor, assisting with other duties as assigned to support Central Supply and Materials Management departments.
Requirements
- 1-2 years’ experience with cycle count and inventory of medical supplies.
- Experience with computerized warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Appropriate licenses to operate a motor vehicle in order to transport passengers or property.

Responsibilities
- Reports stock shortages to supervisor.
- Maintains isolation and crash cart supplies to assigned level.
- Restocks warehouse/rotates stock, empty pallets returned to receiving.
- Maintains current/accurate PAR cart sheets with new supplies and by bin location.
- Stickers patient charge supplies and keeps CDM numbers updated.
- Performs related duties as required.
