About The Position

Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring a Centerless Grinder for our 1st shift. This role involves operating and maintaining centerless grinder machinery, ensuring adherence to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations. The position requires meticulous inspection of products for flaws, deburring when necessary, and moving completed materials to the next workstation. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment is crucial, along with daily communication with colleagues regarding work schedules and jobs, and regular communication with management.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
Minimum experience required is 1-3 years
Ability to interpret and understand verbal and written directions and interact with multiple personality types.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Mechanically inclined with strong math skills.
Ability to read basic measuring devices, including micrometers and calipers.
Working knowledge of surface footage and feed rates, and experienced in calculating feeds and speeds.
Must be a "U.S. Person", which includes U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, U.S. permanent residents, individuals granted asylum in the United States, and refugees in the United States, or who otherwise can qualify for a license that permits them to hold the position.

Responsibilities

Set up centerless grinder machinery.
Operate centerless grinder machinery upholding and adhering to production standards and ISO 9001 regulations and guidelines.
Inspect product to print, looking for any flaws and defect of material, including deburring if necessary.
Move completed material to next workstation.
Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Daily verbal communication with employees regarding work schedules and jobs.
Written and verbal communication with management as needed.
Other duties as assigned
