About The Position

Join our team as a Center Store Specialist and keep the Grocery, Frozen Food, and Dairy departments fully stocked with fresh products. Promote Mackenthun’s Exceptional Experience through customer engagement, assisting with inquiries, and maintaining product displays.

Requirements

• Minimum age of 16
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn about products and services.
• Positive attitude and focus on customer needs.

Nice To Haves

• Depending on age restrictions willing to learn to operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves, frozen food, and dairy cases; rotate and face products.
• Rotate products with first in first out (FIFO)
• Restock advertised items and displays efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, cases, and displays.
• Understand ordering, pricing, and inventory control processes.
• Assist with events, promotions, and creative merchandising.
• Minimize product losses due to damage or expiration.
• Provide excellent service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
• Gather customer feedback and identify product needs.
• Create promotional displays to drive sales and attract attention.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace; handle recycling and sanitation.
• Assist with training new team members.
