Overnight Center Store Clerk (10pm-6am) - Zumbehl
About The Position
This position involves overnight shifts from 10 PM to 6 AM. The primary responsibilities include providing friendly and courteous service to customers, stocking and rotating products in various departments (Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, Grocery), processing incoming product, reading shelf tags, sorting damaged product, operating equipment like hand jacks and power lifts, following safety guidelines, and maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, and storage areas. The role also requires meeting company productivity standards and performing other duties as assigned by management. Training will be provided at the store level.
Requirements
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates.
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
