About The Position

This role involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, stocking and rotating products in various departments (Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, Grocery), processing incoming product, and maintaining cleanliness and productivity standards. The position requires adherence to company safety guidelines and may involve other duties as assigned by store management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
• Able to stock 50 cases per hour
• Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
• Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
• Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Able to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
• Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
• Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
• Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Sort damaged product for credit
• Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
• Maintain company productivity standards
