About The Position
This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. Key responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in various departments such as Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery. The role also requires processing incoming product, understanding shelf tags, sorting damaged product, and operating equipment like hand jacks, power lifts, and a cardboard baler. Maintaining cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, and refrigerated areas, as well as adhering to company safety guidelines and productivity standards, are also essential. Requirements
- 18 years or older to apply
- Regular, reliable attendance
- Ability to stock 50 cases per hour
- Ability to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Ability to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
- Ability to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
- Ability to pull loaded stock truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
- Internal Candidates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred
- Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
