Center Store Clerk - Savoy
About The Position
The Center Store Clerk position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers. This role requires regular, reliable attendance as an essential function of the job. Responsibilities include stocking, straightening, and rotating product on shelves in the Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments. The clerk will process incoming product from the warehouse and direct store delivery vendors, read and understand shelf tags, and sort damaged product for credit. Additionally, the role requires operating a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler, while adhering to company safety guidelines. Maintaining the cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer is crucial. The clerk must also maintain company productivity standards and perform other duties as assigned by store management.
Requirements
- Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates.
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates.
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.

- Able to stock 50 cases per hour
- Able to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
- Able to push loaded two wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
- Able to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
- Able to pull loaded stock truck
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
