Overnight Center Store Clerk - Wentzville
About The Position
This role is offering 24-32 hours per week and requires availability between 10pm-6am on Saturdays and Sundays. The center store clerk will be responsible for providing friendly and courteous service to customers, stocking and rotating product on shelves in various departments, processing incoming product, and maintaining cleanliness of shelves and displays. The position also involves operating equipment such as a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler, while adhering to company safety guidelines. Productivity standards must be met, and other duties may be assigned by store management.
Requirements
- Must be available between 10pm-6am Saturdays and Sundays
- Minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred for Store/Facility Teammates
- Minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred for Store Support Center Teammates
- Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
- If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
- Stock, straighten and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods., and Grocery Departments
- Process incoming product from our warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
- Read and understand shelf tags
- Sort damaged product for credit
- Operate a hand jack, power lift and cardboard baler
- Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
- Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler and freezer
- Maintain company productivity standards
- Other duties may be assigned at the discretion of store management
