About The Position

This position involves providing friendly and courteous service to customers, stocking and rotating products, processing incoming inventory, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of various store departments. The role requires adherence to company safety guidelines and productivity standards. Training will be provided at the store level.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• Regular, reliable attendance
• Ability to stock 50 cases per hour
• Ability to work in a cold environment (-10 to 40 degrees)
• Ability to push loaded two-wheeler (average 100-120 pounds)
• Ability to pull a loaded pallet (up to 700 pounds)
• Ability to pull loaded stock truck
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)
• Internal Candidates (Store/Facility Teammates): minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred
• Internal Candidates (Store Support Center Teammates): minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred
• Internal Candidates: Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline)
• Internal Candidates: If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and courteous service to customers
• Stock, straighten, and rotate product on shelves in Dairy, Frozen, Non-Foods, and Grocery Departments
• Process incoming product from warehouse and direct store delivery vendors
• Read and understand shelf tags
• Sort damaged product for credit
• Operate a hand jack, power lift, and cardboard baler
• Follow company safety guidelines when using cutters, power lifts, and baler
• Maintain cleanliness of shelves, displays, backroom, refrigerated cases, cooler, and freezer
• Maintain company productivity standards
